Hill Elliott

About

Hill Elliott was born and spent his entire childhood childhood in a suburban town called Roswell nestled 25 miles north of Atlanta, Ga. Elliott first picked up a guitar when he was 11 years old. With the combination of his parent’s music (comprised of James Taylor, Lionel Richie & Kenny Rogers) and his discovery of John Mayer’s Continuum album while riding on a lawn mower in 2008, Elliott started teaching himself how to play songs on the guitar via YouTube.

During his studies at the University of Georgia, Elliott was exposed to different styles of music and opened up for The Band Camino at the Georgia Theatre in 2018. Upon graduation, he packed his things and moved to Nashville to pursue a career as an artist and songwriter.

Although his music gains influence from a variety of artists, Elliott endeavors to combine the simplistic nature of Chris Stapleton’s lyric-writing with his affinity for blues-style guitar playing. Elliott is currently working on a project that is to be released in the fall of 2024.

Getting back to the basics of connecting with people is what brings me back to music time and time again. My hope for the people that hear my music is that they feel seen, heard and felt through whatever it is they are going through.

“Since moving to Nashville in 2018, I’ve learned quite a lot about music and the music business. What I like and don’t like, who I am as an artist and the message I want to share with the world.
